Solid Surface Benchtops

Your kitchen is the centre room of your home. Your kitchen benchtops are likely to be the most used surfaces.

Benchtop replacements are carried out quickly and cost effectively, which will transform your kitchen, giving you new colours that can be combined with modern sinkware and tapware.

Why not let us update your kitchen with a new benchtop, a cheaper option without the expense of a whole new kitchen, one which you will never regret.

Just by enhancing your existing worktops with new ones made from solid surface material, can modernise this area of your home.

Planning style of bench

When considering what you want from your bench, there are several things to think about:

1. Whether you want the same thickness or change?

2. If you want to use the same sink or new?

3. What type of profile for the edge of the bench?

4. If you want to replace your existing tap?

All these questions can be answered by any of the team either on site, at our showroom or on the telephone.

Benchtop thickness

Your bench can be any thickness you wish, we recommend starting at 42mm.

There are two profiles that we can fabricate the edge of your bench

1. Rolled fronts

2. Square Clashed

Upstands

Any benches where there is a sink, we highly recommend a coved upstand be placed behind.

A coved upstand is manufactured where the solid surface coves up the back of the bench excluding any join and stopping any water getting underneath the laminate.

Colour of Benchtop

Having difficulty deciding on what colour to choose for your benchtop, here are some questions to consider:

1. The colour of your flooring and whether you are thinking of changing?

2. What colour is on the existing walls or what they will be?

3. What colour is in the other rooms adjacent to the kitchen?

4. The colour of your kitchen cupboards and drawers, are they staying the same?

All the above are things to think about when choosing a solid surface colouring.

Our company uses a variety of different solid surfaces, of which, we have many samples on display in our showroom.

If you would like some assistance in helping to choose the appropriate colour, our staff are always available.
