Solid Surface Benchtops

Solid Surface Benchtops

Your kitchen is the centre room of your home. Your kitchen benchtops are likely to be the most used surfaces.

Acrylic is ideal for benchtops and services areas. It is non-porous solid surface, composed from natural minerals, bound by acrylic resins, makes it a particularly strong surface and it's smooth finish lends it to bold finishes.  Acrylic happily moulds to work with sharp angles or flowing corners and seamless joins.

Benchtop replacements are carried out quickly and cost effectively, which will transform your kitchen, giving you new colours that can be combined with modern sinkware and tapware.

Let us update your kitchen with a new benchtop, a cheaper option than a whole new kitchen, one which you will never regret.

Just by enhancing your existing worktops with new ones made from solid surface material, can modernise this area of your home.

Benchtop Quotations

We offer a no obligation on-site visit and quotation within the Wellington Area.

In most cases, these quotations will be free, but there maybe some instances where a small

call out fee maybe charged and these will be discussed at the time of request.

Planning style of bench

When considering what you want your benchtop to look like, there are several things to think about:

1. Thickness - do you want the same thickness or change?

2. Sink - do you want to use the same sink or buy a new one?

3. Front Edge - what type of profile for the edge of the bench?

4. Tap - do you want to replace your existing tap?

All these questions can be answered by any of the team either on site, on phone, or at our showroom.

Benchtop thickness

Your bench can be any thickness you wish, we recommend starting at 42mm.

There are two profiles that we can fabricate the edge of your bench

1. Rolled edge

2. Square edge

Upstands

We highly recommend a coved upstand be placed behind the sink on your benchtop.

Coved Upstand

This is achieved by a seamless cove of the Acrylic material up the back of the bench, thereby alleviating the change of water leaking through.

Colour of Benchtop

Having difficulty deciding on what colour to choose for your benchtop, here are some questions to consider:

1. Flooring - The colour of your flooring and whether you are thinking of changing?

2. Walls - What colour is on the existing walls or what they will be?

3. Adjacent Rooms - What colour is in the other rooms adjacent to the kitchen?

4. Kitchen Cabinetry - The colour of your kitchen cupboards and drawers, are they staying the same?

These questions are things to consider when deciding on the colour for your benchtops.

Our company fabricates a variety of different solid surfaces, of which, we have many samples on display in our showroom.

Alternatively, listed below are the solid surfaces that we use and a link to the suppliers website where you can view colours and options.
